Shadow of the Bat #35
The Troika part 2
Grant, Kitson, McCarthy

Cover - Great. Batman is now in the slums of Gotham. Street level. The background is lighter. One of the interesting things about the Troika covers is that each one gets higher and lighter.
Plot - Great! Batman has to deal with the KGBeast threatening to nuke the city, and Bruce Wayne has to ajust to life without Alfred! Plus, Batman goes up against Col. Vega and his men, while drugged!
Script - Very entertaining. Bruce askes a pizza boy if he knows anything about washing machines. Batman reminds Robin of his duty to the city, not just his girlfriend.
Art - Kitson does better on SOTB than he did on Adventures of Superman. His art was never bad, mind you, he just improved. The color works perfectly.
Overall - A great issue, probably the best of the crossover.
